Nothing has officially announced that it will unveil its latest mid-range phone, the Phone (3a), very soon. The launch event is scheduled to take place on 4 March 2025 at 10am UK time (GMT).
The official teaser hints at a triple rear camera setup and an updated Glyph design, suggesting a significant upgrade in camera capabilities.
Additionally, while the Plus model seems to be gone after just one generation, Android Headlines suggests we may see a Pro variant of the phone instead.
At this point, however, we do not know whether this will be just a naming change or whether there could be something more behind it.
According to a post by Gadget Bits X, both models are expected to retain the distinctive Glyph lighting on the back and include NFC support. Colour options are anticipated to include black and white for the Phone (3a), while the Phone (3a) Pro may be available in black and grey.
Under the hood, the Phone (3a) might be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its display is expected to be a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also likely run on Nothing OS 3.1, based on Android 15.
The rear camera system is anticipated to include a 50Mp main sensor, an 8Mp ultrawide lens, and a 50Mp telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom. For selfies, a 32Mp front camera is expected.
The device is also likely to house a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging.
While specific details about the Pro variant remain scarce, it’s anticipated to offer some enhancements over the standard model. It may even look like the leaked image below, posted by Sanju Choudhary on X.
